I’ve been impatiently waiting to see Elizabeth starring in any of the trailers for the second GOTG film and have always been disappointed. However tonight, during the SuperBowl in America, a special minute long preview was released and right at the start, we got our first glimpse of Elizabeth!

Elizabeth portrays the character Ayesha, also known as Kismet and Her. According to Wikipedia, in the movie itself, Ayesha is ‘the golden High Priestess and the leader of the Sovereign people, who enlists help of the Guardians.’

Check out the video below (with Elizabeth’s brief appearance) and also the screencaps I have added to the gallery!

Elizabeth shall be starring in an upcoming Theatre production titled ‘The Red Barn’ in the Lyttelton Theatre, London. The play itself also stars Mark Strong,  Hope Davis, Michael Elwyn, Stuart Milligan, Anna Skellern, Oliver Wilson, Nigel Whitmey and Jade Yourell.

The synopsis is as follows:

The great detective writer Georges Simenon escaped France at the end of World War Two, and arrived in the USA to start again. With his American wife, he settled at Shadow Rock Farm in Lakeville, Connecticut. Years later, he wrote La Main, a psychological thriller set in a New England farmhouse.

David Hare has taken this novel and forged from it a startling new play that unfolds in Connecticut in 1969. On their way back from a party, two couples struggle home through the snow. Not everyone arrives safely.

The Red Barn opens on the 6th October and continues through until the 17th January. General booking sales begin on the 29th September, and you can follow this link to bookmark tickets now, however most days are already sold out!

I have added HQ images to the gallery of Elizabeth rehearsing with her co-stars:

More great casting news for Elizabeth and her fans!

According to Variety, Elizabeth has been cast alongside Daisy Ridley in the new movie based on Peter Rabbit. Their article is as follows:

Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki have joined the cast of Sony’s live-action/animated hybrid “Peter Rabbit,” starring Rose Byrne and James Corden.

The film will be directed by Will Gluck from a screenplay by Rob Lieber with revisions by Gluck. The adaptation will be made at Animal Logic, the Sydney-based animation and visual effects production studio behind the global blockbuster “The Lego Movie.”

Gluck and Zareh Nalbandian are both attached to produce the feature, with Doug Belgrad serving as executive producer. Jodi Hildebrand of Olive Bridge and Jason Lust will also serve as executive producers.

Corden will voice Peter and Byrne will star in the live-action female lead role of Bea.

With this film, Columbia and Frederick Warne will bring Beatrix Potter’s beloved character Peter Rabbit to a new family audience. Warne has been Beatrix Potter’s publisher since its publication of “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” in 1902, and is home to the Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter brands.

“We at Penguin Random House UK are delighted to be working with Columbia Pictures,” said Tom Weldon, CEO of Penguin Random House UK. “As custodians of Beatrix Potter’s brand and legacy, we are excited about the opportunity this production will bring to engage a whole new audience with the world of Beatrix Potter and one of her best-loved characters, the mischievous Peter Rabbit.”

Sony Pictures Entertainment will create and execute a worldwide licensing and merchandising program for the new “Peter Rabbit,” in association with Warne.

Production on “Peter Rabbit” is due to commence in January 2017, and is set for worldwide release in April 2018. The film will be made with the support of the Australian Government through Screen Australia and Screen NSW, and in collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation. Lauren Abrahams will oversee the project for the studio.

After breaking out in “Star Wars: the Force Awakens,” Ridley has quickly begun building her resume. Besides the upcoming “Star Wars: Episode VIII,” she’s also attached to star in the YA adaptation “Chaos Walking” at Lionsgate and the supernatural drama “Kolma” at Paramount, which reteams her with J.J. Abrams. She is also set to topline “The Lost Wife” for producer Robbie Brenner.

Debicki is coming off the highly acclaimed “The Night Manager,” which recently won an Emmy for best directing for a limited series for helmer Susanne Bier, and can be seen next in Paramount’s “God Particle,” which Abrams is also producing.

Both are repped by CAA. Debicki is also being repped by United Agents.

Elizabeth’s new show shall begin airing soon (4th July) and another sneak peek has been released. This sneak peek can be found on the site, as it has no embed option. However I have included the synopsis below. I have also added a new promotional to the gallery, which you can find following the link below the post.

Anna Macy left Kettering when she was just 14, shortly after her best friend, Gillian Baxter mysteriously disappeared. The two girls had been playing in the forbidden forests outside Kettering when they saw strange lights in the sky. Eight hours later, Anna was found alone, terrified and covered in blood.

15 years on, Anna returns to find the town struggling to survive. The forests have been marked for logging and the community is being torn apart by passionate but violent clashes between environmentalists and the local loggers.

Time might have passed but Anna’s reappearance causes a stir. Theories and rumours persist about what really happened to the girls that night – from Anna killing Gillian to alien abduction. Then another girl suddenly disappears. Has she run away or has something more sinister happened? If so, by whom or what, and why? Is it linked to Gillian’s disappearance all those years ago?

As painful memories start to surface, Anna is drawn to discover what really happened the night Gillian disappeared, uncovering secrets buried deep in her mind and the heart of Kettering and its people.
