The Kettering Incident Sneak Peek

Sunday, Jun 5, 2016

The Kettering Incident begins airing in Australia on the 4th July and this news article was posted on the Herald Sun.

THE Kettering Incident may have taken the long way around to the small screen — after filming wrapped back in 2014 — but a sneak peek at the first two episodes of the showcase series packed enough in it to have this TV Insider now desperate for more.

The $14 million, eight-part psychological thriller has already been hailed as Tasmania’s answer to Twin Peaks, but more contemporary comparisons to the Top Of The Lake and the recent revival of The X-Files should give TV noir fans an idea of the dark and brooding drama that awaits.

Elizabeth Debicki, the sizzling star of BBCFirst’s The Night Manager, plays Anna Macy, who returns to her home town of Kettering from her troubled life as a doctor in London, only to find herself under suspicion by the locals.

The ensemble cast includes Matt Le Nevez, who made a calculated career turn away from his most popular role as Offspring’s loved-and-lost Dr Patrick Reid — this time impressive as sinister senior detective Brian Dutch.

In supporting roles, Sacha Horler (Secret City), Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film), Ben Oxenbould (Hey Dad), Damien Garvey (Rake), Henry Nixon (All Saints) and newcomer Tilda Cobham-Hervey all immediately shine.

Created and written by Vicki Madden (The Bill, Blood Brothers), directed by Rowan Woods (Little Fish, The Broken Shore) and produced by Madden and Vincent Sheehan (Animal Kingdom, Rover), it was an ambitious project which has already earned international applause and a special jury prize at a French festival when in premiered over there in April.

Elizabeth’s Rumoured Role for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol II

Wednesday, Jun 1, 2016

Below is an article discussing possible role in the upcoming sequel to the Marvel movie. Please beware of possible spoilers!

It was previously thought that Kurt Russell could be playing the villain and have a father/son conflict throughout, but that will not actually be the case. According to JoBlo’s latest report, the main villain will actually be Ayesha, played by Elizabeth Debicki. Now they do not reveal any other details about her plan or desire, but still, this means that 2 out of the 3 MCU films next year have lead female baddies. Pretty cool. Although, if her creation by The Enclave is a big part of the story, I can’t help but wonder if they originally wanted to use Adam Warlock, and that is the role Matthew McConaughey passed on.

Welcome to the newest HQ source for Elizabeth Debicki! It’s took me a while to set the site up, as well as the gallery but it is finally online 🙂

The gallery still isn’t 100% up to date, however I shall be doing this during the coming weeks. I became a fan of Elizabeth after seeing her in The Night Manager and I knew I had to do a site, as there wasn’t many online already. I’d like to thank Kaci for the wonderful custom theme she made the site, as well as her premade in our gallery.

You can find the latest images in the gallery, which include her latest photoshoot, event and stills from The Night Manager, with links below.  Soon we shall also have a style section set up!

Lastly please do follow our social media, as shown in the sidebar!
