With Guardians of The Galaxy, Vol II premiering everywhere in the next few days, the promotion for the movie has begun. Yesterday, Elizabeth attended the premiere for the event in Los Angeles. She looked stunning in a Gold Bottega Veneta gown.

On the red carpet, she partook in some interviews. Below are videos of interviews and under the read more are those of her arriving and on the red carpet.
I’ve been impatiently waiting to see Elizabeth starring in any of the trailers for the second GOTG film and have always been disappointed. However tonight, during the SuperBowl in America, a special minute long preview was released and right at the start, we got our first glimpse of Elizabeth!
Elizabeth portrays the character Ayesha, also known as Kismet and Her. According to Wikipedia, in the movie itself, Ayesha is ‘the golden High Priestess and the leader of the Sovereign people, who enlists help of the Guardians.’
Check out the video below (with Elizabeth’s brief appearance) and also the screencaps I have added to the gallery!

To promote her role in Guardians of the Galaxy II, Elizabeth made an appearance with her castmates, as well as other actors in the Marvel universe.
Other news is that Elizabeth’s character has officially been revealed:
At Marvel Studios’ panel presentation in Hall H for Comic-Con International: San Diego, it was confirmed that actress Elizabeth Debicki (“The Great Gatsby”) will play the cosmic Marvel Comics character Ayesha, AKA Kismet in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”
Speaking at the panel, Debicki said Ayesha enlists the help of the Guardians before “things go sour” in the film.
Director James Gunn said of Debicki’s character in a Facebook post, “Ayesha is the golden High Priestess of a genetically-perfect people called the Sovereign. She’s not a woman to be screwed with – she, and her entire world, are extraordinarily deadly.”
Usually known in the comics by the name Kismet, Ayesha is a celestial being that was created by a group known as the Enclave, in their second attempt to forge a super-powerful being. With the ability to regenerate and manipulate cosmic energy, Ayesha often uses her powers for flight, and to conjure force bolts for attack. Essentially, Ayesha is immortal.
I have added some HQ images to the gallery, however I shall be adding more!
