Elizabeth Debicki Online

She’s the statuesque beauty who has already made her mark in Hollywood.

And actress Elizabeth Debicki looked every bit the movie star when she stepped out looking fresh-faced and radiant on Tuesday.

The Great Gatsby star hit the red carpet in an elegant black gown at the Hollywood premiere of Disney’s ‘The BFG.’ The Grecian-style dress featured a plunging neckline and cinched waist that showcased her svelte physique.

Her short strawberry blonde mane was neatly parted on the side and styled in beach waves.

The 25-year-old The Night Manager actress looked fresh-faced while wearing minimal make-up that highlighted her rosy complexion. She oozed confidence while posing for photographers at the star-studded event despite recently admitting that she is intimidated by red carpets.

‘I’m terrified of them,’ the 6 ft 2 star told The Daily Mail. ‘Red carpets are awful. They’re like a kind of purgatory – you stand there and there are cameras flashing everywhere.

With her endless limbs, swan-like neck and porcelain skin, set off in the sort of outfits her costume designer on TV hit The Night Manager described as ‘being one button or a zip away from being completely naked’, 6ft 2in Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki was made for slinking down the red carpet.

And after her performance opposite Tom Hiddleston in the John le Carré spy thriller she may be doing a lot more of it. Tom may be the talk of the town after The Night Manager, with all bets off when it comes to him being cast as the next Bond, but Elizabeth is also finding herself in huge demand after her star turn as Jed, the beautiful but troubled mistress of Hugh Laurie’s arms dealer Richard Roper – and she’s dreading having to step onto the red carpet again.

‘I’m terrified of them,’ she tells me. ‘Red carpets are awful. They’re like a kind of purgatory – you stand there and there are cameras flashing everywhere. One of my first red carpets was in Cannes for The Great Gatsby and I’d never seen anything like it. It was like a red carpet on crack – the bulbs were everywhere. They were obviously there for Leo DiCaprio – I don’t think anyone knew I was even in the film – but I was standing next to him and they were so frightening I nearly died!’

Her next TV role took her back to the southern hemisphere, to ‘Tassie’ as she affectionately refers to Tasmania, to shoot eerie eight-part crime drama The Kettering Incident, which has been dubbed Australia’s Twin Peaks.

Elizabeth Debicki is open to dating short men.

The 25-year-old actress, who is more than six-ft tall, has revealed she would happily date someone who is shorter than herself, but her main ambition is to find someone with whom she can enjoy some intelligent conversation with.

The blonde beauty shared: “I’ve dated shorter men and it’s not been a problem, but what I’m really looking for is a normal, honest, real person. I like intelligence.

“I think it’s the most attractive thing in a human being and when you meet someone you can have an intelligent conversation with, well, that’s what life’s all about really. And obviously, a well-cut suit is great too.”

Meanwhile, Elizabeth recently starred alongside Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston in the widely acclaimed TV series ‘The Night Manager’, and she relished playing the role of Jed Marshall, who is Hugh’s on-screen love interest.

An awesome review of Elizabeth’s new TV project The Kettering Project has been published by the Guardian. Below is a little snippet, however there is a link to read the rest to avoid potential spoilers. The Guardian also awarded it 4/5 stars!

Australia’s smallest state is the undeniable star – along with Elizabeth Debicki – of Foxtel’s new eight-part thriller about the disappearance of two girls.

“It’s a very personal story,” The Kettering Incident co-creator Vicki Madden says. “Not just my personal journey – a very Tasmanian story.”

It’s Wednesday, and Madden, her co-creator Vincent Sheehan and the core cast of Kettering are at Hobart’s Museum of Old and New Art to present a two-episode preview of Foxtel’s new eight-part thriller. It’s hard to disagree with Madden. Kettering, which won the prestigious Series Mania award when it premiered in Paris in April, is 21st century Tasmanian gothic par excellence. (Read: Tasmanian gothic with a shake of science fiction.)

And Tasmania is, without question, the star of the show – with apologies to lead actress Elizabeth Debicki, whose Hollywood ascendancy meant she was stuck in Los Angeles and couldn’t attend the preview. Her co-star Matthew Le Nevez describes Debicki as “a beautiful, intelligent and emotionally complex actor; she worked harder than anyone and sacrificed her physical self”.

The Kettering Incident begins airing in Australia on the 4th July and this news article was posted on the Herald Sun.

THE Kettering Incident may have taken the long way around to the small screen — after filming wrapped back in 2014 — but a sneak peek at the first two episodes of the showcase series packed enough in it to have this TV Insider now desperate for more.

The $14 million, eight-part psychological thriller has already been hailed as Tasmania’s answer to Twin Peaks, but more contemporary comparisons to the Top Of The Lake and the recent revival of The X-Files should give TV noir fans an idea of the dark and brooding drama that awaits.

Elizabeth Debicki, the sizzling star of BBCFirst’s The Night Manager, plays Anna Macy, who returns to her home town of Kettering from her troubled life as a doctor in London, only to find herself under suspicion by the locals.

The ensemble cast includes Matt Le Nevez, who made a calculated career turn away from his most popular role as Offspring’s loved-and-lost Dr Patrick Reid — this time impressive as sinister senior detective Brian Dutch.

In supporting roles, Sacha Horler (Secret City), Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film), Ben Oxenbould (Hey Dad), Damien Garvey (Rake), Henry Nixon (All Saints) and newcomer Tilda Cobham-Hervey all immediately shine.

Created and written by Vicki Madden (The Bill, Blood Brothers), directed by Rowan Woods (Little Fish, The Broken Shore) and produced by Madden and Vincent Sheehan (Animal Kingdom, Rover), it was an ambitious project which has already earned international applause and a special jury prize at a French festival when in premiered over there in April.

Below is an article discussing possible role in the upcoming sequel to the Marvel movie. Please beware of possible spoilers!

It was previously thought that Kurt Russell could be playing the villain and have a father/son conflict throughout, but that will not actually be the case. According to JoBlo’s latest report, the main villain will actually be Ayesha, played by Elizabeth Debicki. Now they do not reveal any other details about her plan or desire, but still, this means that 2 out of the 3 MCU films next year have lead female baddies. Pretty cool. Although, if her creation by The Enclave is a big part of the story, I can’t help but wonder if they originally wanted to use Adam Warlock, and that is the role Matthew McConaughey passed on.

Welcome to the newest HQ source for Elizabeth Debicki! It’s took me a while to set the site up, as well as the gallery but it is finally online 🙂

The gallery still isn’t 100% up to date, however I shall be doing this during the coming weeks. I became a fan of Elizabeth after seeing her in The Night Manager and I knew I had to do a site, as there wasn’t many online already. I’d like to thank Kaci for the wonderful custom theme she made the site, as well as her premade in our gallery.

You can find the latest images in the gallery, which include her latest photoshoot, event and stills from The Night Manager, with links below.  Soon we shall also have a style section set up!

Lastly please do follow our social media, as shown in the sidebar!
